He has a well-healed but ugly scar curving across the right sight of his throat. Has recently acquired a second scar to join it, coming from the left; heavier, ragged at the end, not quite managing to meet it's predecessor. Still vivid and slightly raw in its newness. Messy curls, grey streak, nice beard. Rough, calloused hands; a few fingers on his left hand were broken and poorly healed, so he can't make a proper fist. No visible tattoos. | |

Mostly here to go where he's needed. If he's pointed towards a task, he'll get it done. Likely to be spending a lot of his time on guard rotations and hanging around the training yard looking for an opportunity to make himself useful. He hasn't had regular access to a library in a while. You can find him there on his off hours, picking up newly arrived items to peruse. Alternately he'll be posted up in a corner of the common areas of the Gallows or hunched at a corner table in any given shitty Lowtown tavern. Otherwise, lots of wandering. He can turn up unexpectedly in the first few weeks while exploring and getting the lay of the land.
Reputation
Not much, really. He's polite and efficient, mostly keeps to himself. Likes a fight, seems to like books and plants, doesn't complain about taking on extra guard duty. Probably a good person to have out in front drawing enemy attention in a scuffle. Walks quietly, carries a big fuck off mace. Typically found adjacent to Wysteria Poppell, Tony Stark and Leo Fitz; habitual participant in their excursions. Suspenders. Any Wardens who were at Adamant Fortress in 9:41 likely know he supported Clarel's maneuvers in the desert, participated in the ritual, traveled with the bulk of Warden forces to Weisshaupt Fortress, then vanished in the chaos during the coup in the Anderfels and subsequent fracture of the Warden forces. Probably presumed dead or caught in whatever's going on in the Anderfels prior to turning up and joining Riftwatch.

SPARRING Need someone to hop in the ring with? Want some pointers on defending yourself? Just interested in having someone swing a giant mace at your head? He's your guy. HOBBYIST There's a few things Ellis devotes himself to: he enjoys the study of plants and their application in the field, he likes reading, specifically fictional works but he picks up historical texts, books of poetry and written recordings of songs, etc. TASKS Give him something to do. Need to lift something heavy? Need an escort? Need some muscle? Need someone to just be generally present to attempt to keep a situation from going sideways? He's good for all that and more.
